About This Project

Did I mention I love small spaces?  As soon as I saw my first container “home” online I knew I wanted to create one. We had an 8′ x 40′ cube delivered and went to work. We found all of our windows and doors at the local Habitat for Humanity store, used old doors to build the kitchen cabinets and bedroom closet, fitted the bathroom with an old claw foot tub, and the container became a very cozy apartment for one. The big plus to this space was the exterior, which was designed with beauty, nature, and privacy in mind and felt as if you lived in a tropical forest.
